ipac

An ipac is an installation file with a complete configuration of a device (gateway, device with infrared codes and control page). This file is loaded via the import function of IRControl. Then an installation process is starting, in which only the few, really necessary settings are made (type of infrared transmitter an its network address). Then you can start right away. To operate with such ipacs, the IRControl Executor is sufficient, since the entire configuration and design of the layout pages is not necessary.

It is installed as follows

IRControl / IRControl Plus

1. Download the ipac file and store it on your android device (preferably in the download directory).

2. Start IRControl / IRControl Plus and select the setup menu (gear wheel in the right upper corner).

3. Select Menu item Datatransfer.

4. Switch to the import tab.

5. Press the Load button, select the ipac file and press ok .

6. Press the process button, then the installation process starts.

7. Enter the necessary data (to the next page with „Continue“, with „Finish“ the installation process is completed.

IRControl Executor

1. Download the ipac file and store it on your android device (preferably in the download directory).

2. Start IRControl Executer and select the setup menu (gear wheel in the right upper corner).

3. Select Menu item „Import“.

4. Select the ipac file and press ok

5. Enter the necessary data (to the next page with „Continue“, with „Finish“ the installation process is completed.
